This project is meant to discuss the relativity between old and new, its focus being in how they would work together through the art of photography. The idea was born during the first few months that I found myself living in Barcelona, Spain, a city whose historical centre is in its largest part medieval. The sight of people dressed in the most modern outfits backgrounded by stone walls that have been in the same place for over four centuries was the initiative to a project very personal -since the people sawn here are all close friends- and at the same time very open to individual interpretation by the viewer. This is a description of everyday situations that could be placed in different time-fragments throughout the city´s historical periods.
